Dance
Working with dance and dancers is the chance to capture something that is highly expressive. Through their movements, I am able to capture beautiful and dramatic pictures.
High Dynamic Range
Nature holds a lot of beauty, so much so that it takes a second to take it all in at once. Experimenting with high dynamic range (HDR), I am able to get more detail from the landscape.
Broken Lens
Upon receiving a broken lens, I dissected it and built something new to see what effects it would give. I ended up creating a lens that blurs everything except for a spot that can be chosen. It blends colors and shifts how light enters the camera to create magical and strange photos.
Blending Realities
Using a mirror, I played with the idea to “blend two realities”. Blending an industrial setting with a reflected figure, I placed the mirror in a way that brought the landscape and the reflected figure together; two separate worlds merging.
